UNABLE TO GET HELP FROM MTN FOR CONTRACT CANCELLATION

I took out my MTN contract with Nashua mobile. I was with Nashua for around 10 years and did not have any issues. I had a contract which had a limit R325.00 and my debit off my account never went above that amount then one month my account was debited way over so i called Nashua and was informed that MTN had taken over Nashua customers. I told MTN that i had a limit while i was with Nashua and they need to put the limit back onto my contract but it never happened, after 3 months of incorrect debits they finally put the limit on, however i still was charged over my budget for those 3 months , i then continued with my contract and when it was close to end of my contract i contacted MTN and asked them to cancel and change my number to prepaid but it was never done and they continued to debit my account, after calling and requesting assistance on a number of occasions i had no choice but to put a stop to debit on my account for contract , i knew i would lose my number but had no choice in order to try and resolve problems with MTN and hope to get my number of over 10 years back. I still have not received any help and when i last called i was informed that MTN legal was handling my contract issue. Can someone from MTN please assist me urgently

The number that was on contract was ********** 887
