UNABLE TO COMITT TO TURNAROUND

I have app**** for a new contract device with MTN and I was told I would receive feedback WITHIN 24hours and its now 30 hours and nothing has been received. Everytime I go to the MTN shop in Enterpise Road, Fairlands, I am told my application is "in Progress". Why commit to a turnaround time if it cant be met.
