Unable to cancel my contract and migrate my number

A month ago (August) 1 month before my contract expired I called the call centre and spoke to someone who said I had to call back on the 28th September to cancel the contract (a day after the contract ended). On 28 September I called back and spoke to someone who said that no cancellation request was put in and that he would refer my request to retentions. He said that retentions would call me back in 48 hrs. I didn't receive any call, so I called the call centre again on 11 October and was told that my migration would be processed on 12 October. As I did not receive any sms from MTN regarding my migration I called the call centre again and spoke to Luyanda who placed me on hold for 25 minutes and 47 seconds. While I was on hold, I used my other handset to call the call centre and got through to Lerato Radebe who after hearing query decided to hang up. I called back again and got through to Lerato Radebe who again hung up.( bear in mind that my calls<br> to Lerato were made while still on hold with Luyanda) Not only was I on hold for 25minutes but I was also subjected to utterly shocking service from lerato. She has absolutely no respect towards clients or her job for that matter!!

Thank you for your post.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our service.

We have tried to call you, on voice mail.

The contract has expired 2015-09-27 and the last invoice generated for this line for September month. The cell number has been converted now to pre-paid. The last debit order will be for R409.00 for the September invoice.

Kind Regards,
