Unable to cancel contract

We have been trying to cancel my Mother's Contract for the past few months. Mtn call centre has been unhelpful with this process. They have been transferring us to Retentions who place you on hold for hours on end. The avarage wait time is said to be 45 minutes, which is on its own a problem. Now we are stuck with a contract that we are paying for yet we do not want. If you ask me, just don't sign up for an MTN contract. The sales are quick and it's downhill from there.
