*****ulent sim swap

A sim swap was *****ulently done on my number. I tried the whole day to get assistance but to no avail. I called the call centre many many times and after being transferred numerous times I got hold of a consultant from the ***** department that said my number would be reversed in a few minutes. An hour later I went to MTN in Mall of Africa as my SIM card was still not working and I was not helped either. The consultants say they can’t tell me who ported my number or tell me what happened. This person who swapped my number is busy asking people for money and accessing private information with my number. This is very disappointing. And please tell the mall of Africa staff to be more professional when dealing with clients. They were on their phones, chewing gum in an irritating manner and having their own conversations, really not interested in helping and hence my matter is not resolved.
