considering how easy it was to enter into a contract with MTN i never thought that it would bring so much pain and stress in my life. Well i have honoured the term of my contract with MTN which was 24 months,on the 23rd month i went to the twin-city branch in bloemfontein to cancel the contract from month to month since the 24 month contract was coming to an end. the consultant did help me and also provided me with the reference number for cancellation,to my surprise after 24th month which was supposed to their last month of deducting from my account mtn continued to deduct from my bank account even after cancelling the contract. now they have handed the account to their lawyers,question is "which account" because i settled my account with mtn. also why cant we cancel contracts at branch level because this 135 customer care line is useless you can wait for 2 hours without anyone attending to your call. i would discourage anyone from finding themselves getting into contract with mtn.
