*****ulent activity

On the 20th of December 2024 Nthabiseng from Afrizon MTN customer care called me in the morning and offered to assist me with getting home WiFi. She did not clarify the terms and conditions of the contract properly , during the phone call we had she said that she is signing me up for a 24 months contract. She then sent me a contact that had incorrect information about my income on the contract and made a 36 months contract instead of the discussed 24 months , now I could not get my 7.5GB data and my any network minutes that I bought for the month . I tried to call her back to cancel the contract immediately, I was unable to reach her , I then called customer care and they advised that I can send an email to get the contract cancelled. The contract was cancelled I was also informed that there is no cancellation fee but the debit remained active. I was then informed of a bill that I had to pay for it to be deactivated, after I paid the bill the debit order remained active . I enquired about the debit order that is active I was then informed that I do not owe MTN and I should contact my bank to get the debit order removed. I then called the Nedbank customer care but they informed me that only MTN can be able to remove the debit order. I tried to get the debit order deactivated but MTN could not deactivate it. I then received SMSs on my number *** today on the 9th of January 2024 informing me that the home WiFi is going to be delivered but I did not apply for any contract, I then informed the MTN customer service about it. I was then informed that the matter has been escalated but they have not provided me with feedback in regards to the active debit order. Hello Peter please assist me with getting the debit order removed from my account a *****ulent activity has been committed here. Yours truly Bongumusa Nhlanhla Sithole.
