*****ulent account at MTN

I am writing this review on behalf of my dad who is a victim of a *****ulent act on his MTN account. He only found out about this act when he was called by MTN legal department to come and pay for his account. He was confused because, he doesn't have a contract with them so there is someone who used his name to open an account with MTN. Since May, this issue has not been resolved as they have been sending him to go to the police station for affidavits, certified ID copies and he comp**** with all the regulations. So now he wanted to open his own contract with MTN for monthly data but because of this *****ulent act on his account, he can't. He has been emailing the ***** department at MTN so that they can lift ***** flagging but still today he has not been assisted. On the 27th of November 2023, he was at the MTN store but their system still shows status in collections. MTN South Africa your cooperation on this matter will be highly appreciated!
