Tyme Bank card holder **************

I was called by your friendly consultant today at 14h30 (phone number +***8) based on my online application that I submitted following my compliant and subsequent MTN reply that was logged on the 2nd of April 2020. We went through the whole application process over the phone (Salary earning, ID number,physical address confirmation and personal details) with a preapproval pending vetting department and only to be decline again when I had to submit my banking details. The reason provided by your consultant was that Tyme bank is not a registered bank with MTN. I find it very strange that Discovery bank (online bank) which came after Tyme bank into the South African market is on MTN registered list of banks. It looks like your ************** to a black bank is deeply entrenched into MTN corporate structures.
