Trying to make me pay for an extra month

My MTN contracts expire on 27 April this year. MTN wants me to pay for an additional month as the notice period. This is the second time that MTN has tried to make me pay an additional month on a contract. I have made it clear that i do not want to keep the number and still they insist i need to pay for month 25 when my contract is only 24 months. I have given more than sufficient notice for the contract to conclude on 27th April as it should. I need confirmation that the contract will be cancelled, including the 1 month notice period on 27th April and i will not be made to pay for an additional month's service that i do not require on 2 contracts.

Hello nsmarley,

Thank you for your post.

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.

According to our records, your upgrade was done on 27th April 2013 and the 24 month contract would expire on the 27th April 2015. A future cancellation date has been loaded for the contract to be cancelled on the 27th April 2015. The last invoice that you will receive would be on the 20th April 2015, which is for usage from the 20 March to the 20 April.

We would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.

Regards
