Trying to cancel my MTN contract ( No answer)

Iv been trying to cancel my contract and find some assistance for weeks now. each time I hold on to the phone for 45 minutes. MTN offers no other option but to hold, and then get dropped. I feel like I'm in an impossible situation with no way out. Iv been to the store, iv emailed, I even went onto their app but the only way is to call to cancel, but they never answer.

MTN is there anyway I can be helped. I actually want to keep my number but I have paid you for the past 2 years, please release me and give me the options from here on.
