Trying to cancel an expired contract at mtn? Forget it!
I am trying to change my son's contract to prepaid, or cancel the contract, whichever one is going to happen first - that is how desparate I am. I entered into a new Vodacom contract for him. His mtn contract is long over it's 2 years already. And wait! They can't cancel a contract in store, you HAVE to do it through their call centre. Except they don't tell you that after 4-5 calls (longest call over 25 minutes), and endless promises of a 48 hour sms and everything will be cancelled. I am now at the end of my tether. I am paying for 2 cellphone contracts, even though I only want one! And then you wonder why I refuse to deal with MTN?
