Trumped-up MTN bill - Since when is TopUp200 bill as you please?

I've repeatedly called MTN and logged complaints on their system, but it doesn't help. I have two billing issues: - Unnecessary item on bill: Four years ago I had a Blackberry. I've had a Samsung Galaxy S3 since and now have a Samsung Galaxy S5 that I bought through MTN when I renewed my contract. However, MTN keeps adding a R51,75 to my invoice for Blackberry Internet Service (BIS). My account was even disconnected for a while in April due to this. I thought the issue was finally resolved, but this month BIS was on my bill again! - Money disappearing from my account: On Thursday, 28 April 2016 I had about R320 for calls and 700MB available. Today, the balance on my account is R0.00 and there's no record on my itemised billing of calls or internet use that would explain it. I've heard that other users are having the same issue. Please cancel the BIS and refund me all the monies owed to me.

Thank you for your post.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our service.

Please take note that the BIS service has been removed as per request. The account will be credited for the BIS charges from November 2014 until April 2016. The credit will reflect in 3 working days.

Please note that you do not have the itemized billing service added on the account. Please contact the 808 call centre on the 23-5-2016 to request for the itemized billing report for the May invoice to be send to you, due to this service not added on the account the system will add a charge of R21.50 for the itemized billing report, the invocie for May is not as yet closed.

As per our system you have 772.95 MB left. We do pick up that the system used the airtime against the data usage. The sim card will be credited with R317.00 of airtime.

Kind Regards,

Alice ban der Merwe
