Trouble porting from Vodacom to Mtn

About a month a go i bought a mobile pack from Afrihost online. That was only the beginning of my nightmare, not thinking that trying to port a number from one service provider to the next could be so difficult.

I did all the necessary steps. By typing my PORTME# the sim number to ********** 08287, i received messages from vodacom and mtn saying they received the instructions. The next day i would receive an sms when it was authotized. I am still waiting.

Tried to port my number again, all of a sudden the sim was invalid.

Phoned mtn, no help, problem is on Vodacoms side. Phoned Vodacom - problem is my status had to change from contract to pay as you go. Did that. No luck. phone mtn numerous times, spoke to a Sinazo, She would email support and they would reset my sim number, then I would be able to port my number. No luck. Sim is still invalid. Sinazo informed me support did reset my number ( two days later only )

I cant tell how many times I've phoned mtn and afrihost. Still no one could help me.

Two weeks ago i went into a mtn shop at Paarl Mall. The assistant, Nadia informed me that she thinks the nano sim is faulty and would swop it for a new sim. Second time around, new sim and all, port did not go through. She would inform me when it did. Two weeks later, still no news. I am still on my old service provider, waiting for Afrihost to bill me the second time around, with nothing to show for it.

ALso, all of a sudden I cant receive call from Mtn.

I am really fed up and tired of paying for a service that i definately have not received.
