Trading Hours at MTN Protea Glen Mall Soweto Store

Dear MTN Customer Service,

I hope this finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding my experience at the MTN Protea Glen Mall Soweto store yesterday.

It is my understanding that trading hours are clearly communicated so that customers like myself can plan accordingly to receive service from your various branches. Unfortunately, yesturday I found that these hours were not respected, which made me feel that as a customer, I was not respected either.

As an MTN debtor, I arrived at the store 15 minutes before the official closing time, only to find the doors already locked. I was then informed by staff that the time displayed on the doors represents when they are expected to leave the store, not when they should stop serving customers or begin cashing up. This has left me both confused and frustrated, as I believe that if a customer arrives before the advertised closing time, they should still be able to receive service.

I kindly request clarity from either MTN or the store management regarding the official closing time and whether the current practice aligns with MTN’s policy. Additionally, if adjustments need to be made, I trust they will be communicated to avoid further confusion.

I believe that bringing such services to this location is meant to benefit both the employees and the customers. However, when situations like this arise, it feels like customer convenience is being overlooked.
