TOP-UP CONTRACT? NO AIRTIME! WHY?

I have a top-up contract phone number with MTN.

In February 2016 was the last time I used this number, even though monthly without fail the deduction of R145 paying for this contract is prompt on. By default a Top-up contract is accumulative in airtime, and my signed contract says so. Am I surprised to do a SIM swap and discover that there is no airtime. I visited today the Atterbury MTN branch to enquire of such, they inform me that since this year MTN had informed subscribers that Airtime lapses if not used. No such information did I receipt and frankly if I am paying for it, and I signed a contract that I say my airtime is accumilative, why is MTN justified to wipe off my paid-for airtime? This is bullying and 2 things need to happen as far as I am concerned. Either the airtime I paid for I receive it or my refund is due.

That is I will accept
