TOP UP contract
I had an top up contract at MTN for 2 years and in the beginning of the year I upgraded and now suddenly my billing is 10 000 rand! That is utterly absurd! Apparently my top up contract went over its limit, isnt that what topup is for? Not going over the limit? I didnt check my balance the whole time because I thought I had top up. I signed for a top up contract. What can I do?? I dont have that money ??

The billing department have validated the data charges and the charges are valid. You may contact 808 and request to make a payment arrangement for the balance due.
Your account has now been capped to R1.00 and you will be able to top up with your own airtime.
Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.
