Took out a contract for a cellphone plus router with them

Took out a contract for a cellphone plus router with them. Only the router came and I immediately told them I'll be canceling the contract. They kept me for the router I never used, I didn't even activate the Sim card. Now they've handed my name over for debt collection and I'm blacklisted.
