TIRED OF MTN'S LACK OF CUSTOMER CENTRICITY
CALLED MTNSP to find out when my one of my contracts expires. I have a Top up contract which expires at the begining of MARCH. I have about R700 worth of airtime which I have paid for. I asked the consultant whether I could change my contract to prepaid after the epiration of the contract and keep the airtime to which she insisted no. I can understand free minutes cant be carried over but airtime?I even asked her to transfer me to the retentions dept. She said she will, but continued typing \notes"whilst I was still on line. So unproffessional. Waited online for retentions for 10 mins with no answer.

If a company like Telkom can do it to retain customer why cant MTN do the same. They have lost the plot in how to retain customer. The network signal contantly drops and the data signal is even worse. I have been a loyal customer for almost 11 years with multiple contracts. I cant wait for both my contracts to expire so I can port to a different network who wants my business. """
Thank you for your post,
We apologise for the delayed response and for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Please note that airtime cannot be carried over when migrating to a prepaid tariff as post paid and prepaid are two different billing platforms.
