Time to move to Cell C
This is the second time I have had an issue with MTN. The first time they refused to actually respond to my complaint. Ref number :*** and ***. They continue to bill for my device after the contract has ended! I even went to the Clearwater branch. How *********** can one company be? Now an excessive bill to be specific R1688.90 for Packet Switched Data Calls. I don't even know what that is. I bought a data contract , and was specifically informed when renewing the contract that this account was locked? So how do I have an excessive bill, I monitor usage and have never exceeded? Also I am getting charged for VAS? Is MTN resorting to *****ing? I can only think that this Service Provider has completely lost the plot. Its really time to move to cell c!
We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused. It was never our intention to have dissatisfied you in any way.
We have now requested our Billing Department to credit you accordingly for the promo service fee charged after the 14th of December 2015. The reference number thereof is REQ:***.
We can also confirm a validation request has been logged for the charges being disputed. The reference number for the request logged is ***. Our systems reflect that the usage limit was only set on the 5th of July 2015.
For any further inquiries around the usage limit, we will advise you to return to the store and request to be assisted by the store Supervisor or Manager as the consultant did not do as requested.
The issue relating to VAS (LTE VAS), this is free service on the account, hence there is a R0.00 charge on the invoice every month.
