This is how MTN does business.

My contract of almost twenty years expires on June 12. I have had really bad service from mtn and do not wish to renew it at your exorbitant contract call rates but rather change to prepaid. I posted here about my inability to get through to your call centre. I then received a curt telephone call in which I was made aware that should I not renew my contract I have to report, in person, to an mtn outlet, specifically on 12 June and no other day and in no other way, to facilitate changing to prepaid. I enquired about other ways to do this as I might not be available on that day but was told that there was no other way in which to do this. I find that unprofessional and *********, to say the least!

I will now just port my number elsewhere and make sure that I spread the news on your service levels.
