Think twice about upgrading to Sony through MTN

Thinking about upgrading to that new Sony Xperia through MTN? please think again!

After 9 months a brand new Sony Xperia T3 failed completely. (complete hardware failure) the phone was exchanged for a device that had been previously repaired. After a couple of months the back cover formed a crack due to poor fitment from prior repairs. As i did not want to wait another 3 weeks without a phone for a cover to be replaced I put some super glue on the cover so the crack doesn't spread. After 10 months the exchange phone has done the exact same thing. (complete hardware failure)

Ismail from SSS Cellular (MTN's go-to repair centre for Sony) is now refusing to repair the device due to \physical abuse\" and \"unauthorised repair\" I mean please, its a little super glue, app**** by myself, on the outer back cover of the device. How in any way does that affect the functionality of the device.

MTN is also sitting back with their hands in the air saying its out of their hands and there's nothing they can do.

The contract with MTN has been active since 1998 and this is how the issue is being handled.
I don't think i will be renewing the contract with MTN.

Job card no. *** "
