*******!
If you cancel a contract (that has reached the end of its term), say, mid-month. Then MTN will immediately cut the contract (you will lose all the minutes you had).
But they will have the audacity to then still charge you for another month!
Example. You have an unlimited minutes contract at R1000/month. You pay for January on the 1st of January. You cancel the contract on the 3rd of January. You immediately lose the contract (can't call anyone anymore) even though you just paid for January. On the 1st of Feb, you are charged another R1000 as per their 30-day cancelation n policy. You still don't get any value in February.
In essence, whatever contract you have with MTN, you will inevitably eventually end up paying for between 1 and 2 months without getting any value.
This is outright theft.
I've been a loyal customer for many many years. It's time to see if Vodacom is any better.
