They will bill your monthly fee even if you left
After getting very bad quality from MTN including areas going dead when load shedding.
And overall bad connections compared to other suppliers
I have left MTN after having given notice quite a while earlier that I am moving my number.
Now all of a sudden this month they send me a bill for
MTN 350 SUBS FEE
Service Fee itemized billing
75mb Recurring HYB
This now after my account was moved to another provider early last month already
How can you bill someone for a cell phone account that was moved to another provider?
I understand paying the last R37.80 for the calls and R28.08 for the SMS I made early last month.
But wanting to bill me for another months subscriptions they must be ...
And I called their call center now who then first claimed that I never cancelled and then picked up that I did cancel which they then had fixed on their system
However she then says that the bill I had received (that would be deducted end of this month) is valid since they bill everything over a month late including your monthly subscription
Which might have been fine if the first month you are with them you did not have to pay the subsection fee in that month
MTN get this fixed I left before month end
