THEFT OF DATA BUNDLES

I am writing this complaint on behalf of my sister who is a pensioner and has no access nor knowledge of how to go about logging a complaint except by calling the service provider MTN who have been giving her a run around. This is her story:<br> I suspected that my laptop had been hacked. The following appears on the screen whenever I try to access internet - ***. The problem started in Feb 2015, this is a contracted laptop with MTN. I have to receive 500MB monthly but I never get to use them because they just disappear. The above mentioned number is blocking my internet access. I reported the matter to MTN Maponya Mall and the consultant told me that MTN is on strike and as a franchise store they are unable to attend to my query until the strike is over. The problem is still not fixed and I am loosing 500MB bundles on a monthly basis. I have emailed MTN customer service several times but to no avail and yet they are debiting my bank account for this contract on a monthly basis. I have never had issues with my contract when I was with ITALK Why does MTN take advantage of the elderly who cannot fight for themselves? Are they ripping of the pensioners because they can,t complain.

Kindly be advised that the system shows that you are provisioned monthly with 500MB bundle and it is used up on internet connections and downloads. Please avoid having multiple sessions opened.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.
