Theft is an understatement. MTN staff are pathetic.

I’ve been having difficulty getting an exact amount to pay from the call centre because they overcharged me for data. As you can see I’ve attached my payment which was in October which should have been the last payment on my 1st contract.

I’ve been calling the call centre ever since to get my contract closed now because IT FINISHED IN OCTOBER but keep getting the same response. THE CALL CENTRE STAFF MADE AN ERROR WHEN I BOUGHT A 2 gig data and charged me R5000.

I have paid now for my laptop which is the 3 months I haven’t paid. My R389 I should be paying a month which amounts to R1167.

I’ve called the call centre again now to find out what the amount is and the lady tells me R3100. I can’t for the life of me understand what that is for because 389x3 does not add up to R3100. That is not the contract I’ve signed for.

The lady I spoke to at the call centre is telling me that I’m still paying for a cancelled contract which I’ve called repeatedly to cancel and data I bought through MTN. WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR A CONTRACT THAT ENDED THREE MONTHS AGO!!?! I keep explaining this story to every person I talk to at the call centre then the lady still has the audacity to ask me who I’ve spoken to?!? CAN THE STAFF NOT SEE THE ERROR ON THE SYSTEM OR ARE THEY JUST TRYING TO COVER UP FOR THE COMAPNYS THEFT PROBLEM. As far as I can understand the system can tell you what I’ve been calling about and the call logs they’ve been logging to correct whatever is going on on the account. Why should I write down each and every person I speak to? I do not carry a pen with me wherever I go and whilst I’m driving.

I don’t believe it is ethical for anybody in their right mind to charge somebody for an error THIS COMPANYS employees made, its pathetic. This is a **** situation this company has put me through financially.
