The Worst Customer Care Service Ever
MTN is refusing to remove/cancel the SIM card that I'm not using, which was registered in my name when I purchased my iPhone at an iPhone store. I have been billed for this number for the last 36 months, and my contract ended last month. I have been calling MTN since last month to close my accounts/contracts with them. I've been put through to the retentions department more than 50 times. They have been asking me security check questions. I just called about five minutes ago; I was put through to a series of security check questions again, and I was told it was not successfully authenticated. I gave them my ID number, my cellphone, my email address, my home address, and even my banking details. I've spoken to more than 15 consultants at the retention department, but I still haven't gotten my problem resolved. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but I was told the supervisor is in a meeting. I called the retentions department this morning just after 8 o'clock, and I was told the same thing: their supervisor is in a meeting, so this so-called supervisor has been in a meeting since 8 o'clock this morning. This has been my worst experience ever with MTN, rude, unprofessional, *********** workers and supervisors that gets paid a salary but are never available to assist with urgent matters. I've decided to serve MTN with a court order; it's my legal right to do so.
