The silence of the MTN

My cellphone contract expired end of last year, and not a day too soon. Cancelling a contract which already expired seemed near impossible, so the call centre official advised me to migrate to prepaid and then to just let it expire on its own, which I did. I checked with MTN and my contract was indeed migrated to prepaid (success at last!). That was end of 2015. Now all of a sudden I receive phone calls from some or other company telling me I still owe MTN money, but they can't tell me for what. WHEN I RECENTLY APP**** FOR A BANK LOAN, IT WAS REJECTED DUE TO PROBLEMS WITH MY CREDIT RECORD. TURNS OUT MTN WROTE ME UP FOR NON-PAYMENT, WITHOUT EVER ONCE CONTACTING ME REGARDING POSSIBLE OUTSTANDING FEES!!! I visited a MTN store a few days ago and they could not even find me on the system, let alone any info regarding unpaid fees. I finally got in touch with their legal dept who said they will provide me with info ONE day later. Its now a week later... MTN recently said on media24 that they need to up their game because they are losing clients etc. Well you really are upping your game aren't you? And DON'T reply with your #@$% empty apology starting with "on behalf of MTN I would like to sincerely apologise..." Never worked, never will and it just makes my blood boil faster. Just sort out this mess and remove that F$%#! entry on my credit record. And don't expect me too help pay for your mega fine.

Sincerely

Ex-client who will never do buseiness with you again
