The company that keeps on taking, and laughs at the people who fall for their insurance gimmicks

There seems to be a trend in insurance companies of late. Offer the world's protection within appropriate limits and happily take your money every month until you need them to do what they advertise, and the very fami**** idiotic dance begins. My family has had the worst experience with MTN insurance. Our premiums are up to date and payed, all the paper work was sent in and completed as it should have been and sent in over multiple emails - all of which we have on record. This was a process we had to complete at least 4 times, because, for some reason, they keep on losing our information. In between they switched administrative staff, phones got lost and found and then sent back and rejected. All throughout this miserable administrtive f** up, I sent my phone in with water damage and was told the insurance will replace it. My phone was an iPhone 6 Plus 64 GB, memory I have to add that was important to me as a student. If I could get by with less memory, I would have happily accepted to take a 16gb from the start, but as I say my space is important. MTN insurance then found it appropriate to replace my phone with a 16gb 6s plus. Yes, its a newer model, but honestly, its not my fault they don't keep stock of their phones. I sent in a 64gb, and that is what I expected to get back. Mtn Insurance has caused a world of inconveniece to myself and my family, with lengthy waiting times and many many excuses.

If you have an iphone, on an mtn contract, you will be better off getting your insurance from apple itself, if you want to avoid all this drama and frustration.
