TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!!!!

***

I seriously do not know where I am supposed to go to get any form of assistance. I went to your store at Mall @ Reds and I did not get any assistance, I logged a call directly with your call center and plus I wrote on Hello Peter and I still did not get any form of assistance. I am being billed R1969.19 for this PACKET SWITCHED DATA CALLS making my monthly invoice R2503.87. This is not the first time I am being charged this and the last time I went to your MTN store in Mall @ Reds those assistants did not even help me, they told me that I must bring my contract. I went there again with my contract and I asked them to tell me where does my contract state that it's uncapped/open contract and they could not even find that clause anywhere on my contract. They said they would log a query which they did not. So much for having assistants that can't even assist on a simple query logging. I refuse to pay this bill because as far as I know I requested for a capped contract and the shop assistance that "assisted" me told me I will not be paying anything more than R258.99, however now I am being billed these ridiculous amounts. Why are you selling us false contracts which are not what we initially wanted??? How many more other people are you billing these ridiculous amounts??? It is your responsibility as a service provider to let me know as a customer the full package that you are selling me and state it on my contract As far as I am concerned nothing was said to me about extra charges so I totally DO NOT understand these charges you are charging me. Last time I was charged this Packet Switch Data Calls I had loaded my own data, so I was charged for loading extra data??? MTN is ripping its customers off, this is ****************. I spoke to one of you call center consultants, Masichaba Melato, and she informed me that I am on an open contract and she explained to me what an open contract is. I had a look at my contract that I signed and it does not state anywhere on it anything about an open contract. She also pointed out that I am on a Broadband contract and made it seem like it's my fault that I did not know that being on a Broadband contract means that I am automatically on an open or unlimited contract. When I asked for further assistance on this matter as I am disputing the open contract she said I must go back to the store where I purchased the contract. The very same store where I went to with my complaint and they did not assist however they gave me attitude. I am struggling to understand who is supposed to help me on this matter seeing that I do not get help from your stores nor from the call center.

* For 13 months I had been paying R258.99 without any additional charges and when my data was finished it did not allow me to carry on roaming on the internet.

* In October 2015 I loaded 1GB worth of data and it was processed through. As far as I know if you are on an open contract this transaction was not supposed to go through.

* In November 2015 I received a bill for R367.74 for PACKET SWITCHED DATA CALLS making my bill R678.21. This was for the month of October 2015 when I loaded my own data. So I was charged double.

* I will need a written agreement where my signature is visible or a telephonic agreement where I clearly state that I agree to an open contract.

* If this cannot be presented then I would like a reimbur*****t of the amounts incorrectly charged and I would like this contract terminated with no additional charges with immidiate effect.

You have now sent me the statement for May and you have blocked my number meaning I did not use you data yet you are charging me for it. If I was able to receive help from someone there then we would be talking a different story, yet you people still ignore my complaint and requests.

No wonder you people are rated poor on Hello Peter, it's you lack of customer service that you have for your customers.

Thank you for your post.
We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.
The matter was escalated to the billing team and they said the charge was valid. Please take your contract back to the shop where you bought it from and query with the manager of the store.
Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.
