Terrible servive by MTN in rural areas
I am a farmer who has been a loyal subscriber to MTN for probably 20 years. MTN installed a booster/repeater at my house and for many years we enjoyed a very good service. But then MTNs executives sold out their own subscribers by allowing CellC to use the MTN transmitters in rural areas for a short term financial gain and suddenly everything changed for the worst! We struggle te enjoy ANY services during thecday and especially peak hours.
And reporting this problem directly to MTNs call centre is absolutely useless with consultants just reading answers from a cheat sheet and without any comprehension of the problem. THERE IS NO PROBLEM ON MY SIDE... THE PROBLEM LIES WITH YOUR TRANSMITTERS THAT CANNOT COPE WITH THE INCREASED VOLUME OF TRAFFIC!!! YOU NEED TO UPGRADE IN ORDER TO INCREASE CAPACITY.
And I am spesifically referring to the transmitter in Marydale in the Northern Cape. I had perfect reception and service. My house is still at the same place, your transmitter too. Only thing that changed is that you cannot cope with the increased demand that you chased without giving any thought to your loyal customers. In fact this constitutes breech of contract. ALL THE PEOPLE HERE COMPLAINS ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON
