Terrible service with cellphone repair

I received my new upgrade phone in September 2017. It is the new Nokia 5. From the start the phone heated up when on charge. On the 13th of October 2017 the screen suddenly started making psychedelic patterns and the flash kept on flashing and the screen kept from one thing to another without even touching it. It then just make a long white line in the centre of the screen from top to bottom. I took it into MTN Meyerton branch where I got the phone in the first place. They booked it in and sent it to the repair centre, telling me it would take about 6 to 8 weeks to be sorted out. Today 2 December 2017 I called them and was told that my phone was back and that I could collect it. When I collected it they told me that the battery was flat and that I would need to charge the phone. Got home and plugged it into the charger and all that happened was that the bottom lights turned on but the screen stayed blank. Immediately the phone started heating up in such a manner you could not even hold it in you hand. How can they return the phone and claim it is fixed and working when it is not? The phone was only 1 month old when it went on the blink?

I took the phone back to MTN Meyerton and when I told them the phone they said was fixed and just needed to be charged as the battery was flat, was told that the phone was returned by the workshop as it had water damage! This after they told me that it had been repaired! This phone has never been anywhere close to water, being kept in a leather purse at all times and only being removed to make or answer a call or message. The only time it is out of the purse is when it was on the charger in the office, where there is no water any where close. I told them right in the beginning that the phone was overheating when on charge and the back casing and screen builds up condensation that it needs to be wiped with a soft cloth. This is unacceptable. A brand new phone that has been looked after like it is made of glass. I don't even allow any of my family to answer or use the phone. The phone was faulty right from the beginning, which I informed the branch of right in the beginning. I would not hold charge for more than 8 hours. I left the phone with the branch on 7 Dec and have till now not heard a word. Still without my phone. They cannot reneg on the contract now as it is not customer error or anything that the phone did not perform as it should have, with the manual stating that the battery life is supposed to be 18 hours on 3g talk. I tested the phone one day by charging it full and then leaving it on do not disturb to see how long the battery would keep charge. In other words no calls were made or received and no movement was done at all. The battery was flat after just under 9 hours. I need to know what is going to be done about this. You said and I quote: We would like to advise that this matter is receiving priority attention. We have referred the matter to the regional manageIment as urgent therefore we anticipate a resolution of the issue within the shortest period possible. Nothing has been done to recitify the matter and the statement that there is water damage is unacceptable as I have explained earlier.
