TERRIBLE SERVICE
Good day
I am terribly unhappy with the service that I am currently getting from MTN.
Kindly take note that after you sent me an email on 25 March 2021 I went and purchased a Samsung Galaxy S21 to now finally be able to get the correct service and E-sim for my LTE watch.
On Friday, 2 April 2021 I attended to both of the MTN shops at Clearwater mall – The bigger shop told me that they are unable to assist me because the system does not allow them to authorise the E-sim. I then attended to the other smaller shop where Tshego assisted me. He was helpful and made contact with whoever was necessary and he gave me the following feedback:
- “They are unable to currently authorise the E-sim because the credit limit on my contract does not allow for this.” I then enquired on what the additional costs are and he informed me that I would pay a once off fee of R120.00 and then R30 monthly. - Yesterday I got feedback stating that the credit limit increase that they made for the eSim was declined. I enquired on the reason for this and I was advised that he would call the vetting team today. I have not had feedback since.
Kindly advise on how it is possible to be declined for the additional R30.00 a month.
I have not been happy with MTN for a long time – your advisors advised I upgrade to the Huawei P40 last year – after reading up and raising my concerns about the being able to use the phone for certain work functions and apps I was assured that (despite the Google-Play not being available on this phone) that everything would work – EVERYTHING DID NOT WORK AND HUAWEI JUST TOLD ME THE APPS ARENT AVAILABLE AND I MUST WAIT FOR IT TO BECOME AVAILBLE – I had to get rid of this phone and am now paying for something I no longer have.
Now for a simple thing I have had to jump through hoops
For a R9500.00 watch and a R19 000.00 phone MTN cannot give me a credit increase for R30.00 – I am UNHAPPY -
Kindly assist.
