Terrible service and wrong billing amount

I have had a contract in my grandfathers name for about 5 years, if not longer, with MTN and i have always been happy with their service and have always told people that MTN is the best service provider.. well not anymore.

We changed the contract into my name in February, and after submitting everything i never heard anything back. I then receive a bill with a swap charge (which no-one told me about when i went to change), a huge prorate and then the normal monthly bill. After going to the store to find out why they have charged me a prorate bigger than my actual monthly premium and also to get a copy of my contract, i just get told that they will log a query and get back to me and they will look for my contract for me. Again i never heard anything back. I then phoned customer services and logged another complaint that the billing was wrong.

Anyway we are now 2 months into this, 2 visits to the store, about 6 phone calls to customer services, and at least 30 emails to 5 different people including the regional manager and a employee at the store, and no-one seems to take this seriously.

Firstly customer services say i must prove i get the discount so that they can apply it to the prorate, but i had received this discount every month for 3 months and even for that month but just not for the prorate.... OKAY?? So i go and ask for my contract - well the store just tells me they will look for it and send it to me - nothing. Phone customer services - no the store must get it. Customer services ask the store. I then I get sent a UNSIGNED contract with the date on that day, please explain what that is going to help me? Now the store says the contract is at head office and the owner of the store is the only person who can get it back and they are on leave for 2 weeks. I am now convinced that MTN is not complying with record keeping standards and couldn't be bothered to help me at all. We are living in the 21st century! Why are records not available online for any MTN employee to access at anytime?

I am tired of asking for my money back and instead of dealing with my problems i get emails that my contract may go up by 4% or maybe more? All you guys want to do is take take take and then when your customers have problems you just prolong the process hoping that the problem goes away and you can pocket the money?

Since no one can work it out, i will explain it in more detail when i hopefully get contacted by someone competent at MTN.

I was told to wait two weeks for my refund and when the two weeks were up and i emailed to ask what is happening MTN just ignore me again? What is going on with your customer service? I expect this to be addressed today and proof of payment to be sent to me immediately.
