TERRIBLE MTN SERVICE, overcharged for data!!!

The problem has been going on for more than two months now :( there is not enough space here to tell the whole frustrating story.

One of the main problems is that I have had adequate data on my account and have wi-fi at home and at work and yet for the past two months my ability to make calls, send messages or do anything with my phone has been suspended after 8 days of the 'new month' and I was told that I had exceeded my credit limit with an amount of more than I would normally spend in a month.

The first time it happened (in May) was during the MTN strike which meant that I was without any cellphone communication for a whole week, as their call centre was on strike and that is the only way to get reconnected.
Then when it happened in June - I called the call center and i was told they would invesitgate - no feedback for two weeks. they took R1522 off my account (data related i think - and i have proof that i still have data) and my bill is normally not more that R700-.
I went to the MTN shop at century city 15th July - the MANAGER assured me she would get back to me - i've emailed her twice - no feedback yet. will MTN take EXTRA money off my account again?
PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hello Annie Smith,

Thank you for your post.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as result of the breakdown in the service delivery in one of our touch points.

Please bear with us, our call centre has been experiencing high call volumes. The matter is receiving priority attention.

Kindly be advised that a billing query has been logged requesting for the data charges to be validated, REQ:***:. Please also be advised that as of the 1st of April 2015, the pricing for the data bundles and data packages increased. The out of bundle rate increased from R0.25 excluding VAT to R0.87 excluding VAT, which could be one of the reasons your data billing is now high.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Regards,
Winnie
