Terrible Experience
I have recently got an MTN contract and I have two issues.
1. I've been given a new number with the contract and I'm not able to change the number to my prepaid one. I've tried calling the support line and visiting the store. Neither option has helped.
2. My new phone is 'dual sim' but MTN apparently doesn't support dual sim functionality. If I knew this before getting the contract, I'd never have signed up!
Very disappointing.

23 Sept 2019, 21:09Hi Alice,
This is a really useless, yet expected, response.
I switched from Vodacom to MTN hoping for an improvement. I am really disappointed.
The main issue is the cost of my time in trying to change numbers and then trying to use the dual sim functionality of the phone. I can't understand how a key phone feature is prevented from being used. If this omission was advertised, the advertising was appalling.
I appreciate your response but it makes me sad to be reminded that a 'good' service provider doesn't exist.
