Terrible, Disgusting, *******

I oppened an account with MTN South Africa and was suppose to end after 24 months in september 2016. (Account A ********** , 24 Months mtn anytym top up). I never missed a payment and the contract was suppose to end at the end of September 2016. Surprisingly these ******* (due to their behaviour, conduct, lack of care and croocked business attitude and I suppose thus their business model of ripping of unsusspecting consumers), still they *******LY DEDUCT money from my account even though its paid up. I have sent emails to this email address ********** i received from their useless customer service centre.

My contract ends in September 2016, with agreed debit amount of R239.The R311,00 MTNs debit monthly is outtside the contract summary agreement I do have with them. End of September more than R400 was debited and in October more than R600 was debited. Kindlly explain why you are still debiting and even a larger amount when the agreement was R239 and the account is paid up. d

Its long,I have been shading data and air to zero as per your instruction on 16 nov 2016 What is the delay all about? Please kindly cancel the contrcact to prepaid migration, weather data or air time present or not Loss is what I have suffered from the beginning and what I experiencing now. You may even termimate /close the line or collect your stupid bait tablet you use to trick people with. I do not want this contract anymore and i dont want unexplained debits in my bank account.

I have all the emails i have exchanged with MTN South africa promissing to stop the deductions and do the migration but surprisingly they still *******ly deduct from my account. No wonder why they make millions in profit.

With their attitude never again would I buy from them. Never ever.

Disgusted customer

Thank you for your post.

We apologize for any inconvenience incurred.

Kindly be advised that our terms and conditions state that the client is responsible to give MTN 30 days notification before the contract expires, both of the lines expired 2019-09-14. The notes on the account only refer to the cancellation request on the 16-11-2016. The system reflect that you have used the airtime and data received with the package after you have requested for cancellation and prepaid request in November. Note that the system bill the account in arrears and you will received your data and airtime in advanced. If you have a reference number to proof that you have called in September for the prepaid request please assist us with the reference number.

The October invoice debit order returned unpaid, please note that you will be liable for the October payment to MTN.

We have pick usage on the November invoices as well. MTN will pass a good will credit against the account for the balance of November + the 2 RD Fee for the debit orders returned unpaid. The credit against the account will be for R676.80.

The account balance will be R654.00 and this need to be paid to bring the account balance to R0.00 after the credit has been passed.

We have tried to contact you but cannot get through to you. We have pick up that you have the following airtime left on the sim card, once prepaid migration is done anything left of the sim card will be lost.

R840.00 Airtime Rand is left on the sim card.

Please send to me a notification to go ahead with the prepaid migration and that this is in order to lose the airtime left on the sim card. My email address ***

Kind Regards,

Alice van der Merwe
