Terrible clueless service!

I app**** for a phone a week or so ago, and all went well. The billing account was even created. Then I got 10+ emails all saying different things. First, the account was approved, then it was declined. Then the account passed verification, then it didn't. Then I passed the ITC check, then I didn't. I went to the MTN branch yesterday, and was told the deal was cancelled? No one let me know anything. I was also told to reapply. So what is actually going on now? Is this all because I want the Samsung Galaxy Ultra S25 and you are very reluctant to order it? Or what? This is actually extremely ridiculous having to jump through all these hoops just to get a contract phone!
