Technology signifies going paperless yet MTN insist in a bank stamp in the age of ONLINE BANKING????

On the 26th of June 2016 I attempted to sign up for one of MTN's celluar deals. In this digital age that we live in, I do most of my business electronically. For example, the university that I work at send our salary advice via email and I conduct everything else via Online Banking. As a result, my monthly bank statements are emailed to me yet I was met with resolute insistance by one of your consultants that my statements HAVE to be stamped and my payslip HAS to be original?? I understand policy and procedures but surely as one of the leading cellular companies MTN needs to get with it in the digital age of going paperless??? Surely, one can see the difference between a copy and the original as I was told that my payslip needs to be original as well as my bank statements. All my documents are original; it is emailed yet it is perceived as copies?

Terrible service

Dr Michelle Van Heerden
