Support lines keep dropping
Hello MTN,<br> <br> I'd like to know how many times a person needs to call 809 before you can actually get assistance? Calling 809 puts you through to the standard call center which has it's own 808 number right?<br> So when I dial 809 I expect to get though to the business call center as a corporate client!<br> <br> After having tried 5 times, I get thorough to an operator on the standard call center. They kindly give their name and ask if what they can assist with. I kindly request to be put through the business section.....<br> <br> After which the phone goes quiet! Call still connected but nothing on the other end! 5 times in a row!<br> Surely your staff have reported this dropping of calls? Not to mention I haven't even gotten to the reason why I was calling in the first place.<br> <br> Jack up your service please!

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.
Kindly be advised that the system only routes calls to 809 when initiated directly from an MTN corporate number. If calling from an MTN Consumer-Standard contract number the system directs calls to the 808 where the agent will have to internally transfer the call to 809 at your request.
We would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.
