Suppling of a service is Non-existant

MTN South Africa why the hell do you think that you can get away with making up your own rules and regulations as supplier or service provider? I have submitted a claim on the 11 November 2019 to repair a damaged device through ***. Admyntec I presume is the 3rd party insurer that handles insurance for MTN customers. I am still paying insurance on the device and on the contract through @ MTN. It has taken 3 weeks for them to notify that the documents were processed and was under review by the underwriter, however I had call them on 03 December 2019 to find out what the status of the claim was. They have rejected the claim stating that the device (insured) and sim card was active on the 19 October 2019 (Which shows on the system, but can not provide proof), hence the rejection of claim as the device and sim need to be activated at least 48hrs upon submission of claim. However, the device was damaged on the 9 November 2019 and in a non working condition. (claim form submitted on the 11 November 2019) I can prove that the sim card was put, in a different device on the 10 November 19 as Gmail can detect that the sim has been active on a different device instead of the insured one. This is a bull**** excuse for not assisting me as customer, your not supplying me with a service but sure as hell paying for it!

The Consumer Protection Act, No.68 of 2008, which came into effect on 31 March 2011 is not just a guideline for consumers as some may presume. It is a consumer’s right to protection against discriminatory marketing practices, disclosure of information, right to fair & honest dealing and accountability by suppliers. Consumers also have the right to query the inferior quality of goods and services. Suppliers are not permitted to directly or indirectly, provide customers with false, misleading or deceptive representations regarding goods or services.

Must be damn proud of taking customers money with out questions!
