Subscription? More like Theft!

I am normally absolutely confident in MTN's services but something recent has really been annoying me to no end and MTN customer care nor MTN does nothing to prevent me as a paying customer from! I have been bombarded with MTN paid subscription which I have no permission to be subscribed for which then go on to take chunks of my airtime at any given time. Upon querying it with MTN customer I'm being told that I cannot get my airtime back and all I can do is unsubscribe?! What are you guys doing to stop this nonsense!! Why does MTN even allow this! It's ****************!

Dear Alice, Thank you for a prompt reply. I am aware that this is an "outside" party but I am completely dissatisfied with this response. I have been with other networks and have never encountered this problem. Being a service provider there needs to be more stringent security checks in play before a customers airtime is taken. Please bare in mind that I am not the first customer to complain about this nor will I be the last. If a bank can alert customers of someone trying to take money out a customers account what is stopping MTN from doing the same for their customers! Essentially it is our money at stake and you're telling me that by browsing the internet like millions of other users do a day I am stupid enough to subscribe to something of this nature? Please tell your marketing team and internal affairs to get a hold on this before they lose more money! Currently I am working on porting my number to a new network as this is an unacceptable response. Regards, Rayhaan
