Subscriber Usage Limit

I have a subscriber usage limit of R686, but MTN decided to ignore this and charge me for data in excess of R1840. I then reduced my limit to R200 to check if if the limit was in place, and I received an SMS from MTN noting that my limit decreased to R200 from R686, and my most recent invoice has the usage limit of R686 clearly printed, so I cannot understand how my additional charges exceeded R686.

I enquired with MTN call centre, and received very useless feedback from a consultant who kept on referring to my credit limit that was not exceeded and he could not understand that I am referring to my subsriber usage limit. I then emailed MTN, and received a delay response that is completely unrelated to my query of being overcharged. I then followed-up thrice, and have still received no response since my initial query 2 weeks ago. My reference numbers are # ********** 30 and # ********** 5. This is extremely poor service, and I have lodged a complaint of being overcharged with the CGSO.
