Subscribed to service on MTN without my consent

I’ve received the following sms this morning: ”Y'ello. Thank you for subscribing to Reycreo_monthly at R9.00/mth. To cancel dial *155#. Call 135 for help. Ts&Cs www.mtn.co.za“ I did not subscribe to this service at any point. The worst part is that in an effort to assure that this is not some sort of ****, I saw that there have been numerous complaints online about the same problem for other MTN clients - already dating back to 2018. It honestly bothers me that a large company is trying their luck by continuing this **** of their own. Where is the accountability? Surely they’ve made quite a bit of money out of this.
