Students stay away

Opened a contract with MTN for 10GB day 10 GB night as a student, this was probably the worst move.

After doing what the salesman from meyerton branch asked me to do which was testing connection with a sim at my home because he could not tell if I had coverage or not, my modem and sim worked perfectly for 1 month and from their down hill.

After constant complaints, emails and visiting the branch my final feedback was i would have to payout the full contract, imagine as an employed student with my income going fully to transport and School i had an additional expense with no benefit whatsoever (terrible coverage).

Another issue arises after constant follow ups for when my policy will end due to the terrible coverage my 24 month contract came to an end only for the 25th month to come with an extra charge (R320 from R250) to come because my contract has ended and there are no discounts anymore! MY CONTRACT ENDED WHY ARE YOU CONTINUING TO deduct without contacting me! I have not used this modem or sim for two whole months absolutely ridiculous!

Always quick to make a sale, always quick to Benefit off of a canceled contract, not my first issue with mtn! Students stay away! Those with a budget - you might as well ass burn it with this provider!
