Struggling to cancel MTN Data Contract

I emailed the MTN customer care to cancel my data contract before its expired. Just to get advise phone 082135 . The landline phone didnt work but my vodacom cellphone work. So when i phoned the unisa lady spoke for 2mins and no cancellation option is offered no number 4 does not exist. Which was advice from MTN customer care gave. No way to contact the cancelation department via phone option provided. I went to Secunda MTN instore and they said they cannot do cancellations anymore. Would appreciate any help to cancel my contract. If i read similar reviews i see this is not going to happened. Not sure if this review helps.
