I gave my notice on my cell phone account via e-mail on 1st February to MTN. My contract ended on 24 April 2017. As it was a company registered account, they asked me to send notice on a letterhead which I did on 14/04/2016. I also went into the Rivonia branch and signed the necessary documentation. MTN ignored my e-mails, and charged me for the end part of April and the whole of May. I have responded to MTN numerous times. Now they have handed me over the SSDA. SSDA have ignored my very many e-mails and phone calls, and is now threatening me. Every week, they send a new e-mail and the amount owed goes up by R 100. All I have asked for is a complete reconciliation as to how they got to the amount they are claiming. I repeat, please send me a reconciliation which explains how you got to the amount you claim I owe, when you have overcharged me for one month and four days.
