STOP DEDUCTING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT!

I have a problem with mtn, I took a 3 year contract with them and never missed a single premium until my contract was paid up.

A month before my contract ended I contacted mtn and told them I want to cancel my contract because I do not want an upgrade, I was told by the consultant at the contract department that they cannot cancel the contract before it’s paid up fee as I would have to pay a cancellation fee, I should then call on the 11th September 2023 because my contract was ending on that particular date. I then asked if the 15th of August 2023 was the last time they were going to deduct the premium and I was told yes. I then called on September 11th and cancelled my contract and I was told my contract was successfully cancelled.

However in September mtn deducted funds from my account, me knowing that my contract was PAID UP reversed the amount and I had to incur R45 bank charges because of that. Then mtn decided to double deduct my account in October, now this made me very angry, why are you still deducting from my account for a contract that is PAID UP? I followed all of your instructions on how I was supposed to go about cancelling my contract because it was PAID UP!

I even went to the mtn store in Tygervalley to inquire about this because I had to reverse the amount and the consultant showed on his screen that my contract shows as Paid up, my cellphone number is currently on prepaid and I am not receiving any data or minutes and that he doesn’t know why they are deducting my account. I have been trying to contact the contracts department regarding this issue multiple times but IM ALWAYS holding coz “THERE’S A HIGH VOLUME OF CALLS” !

Please check your records! Listen to your call recordings, you will find that I have followed all procedure regarding MY PAID UP CONTRACT! I HAVE NEVER MISSED A SINGLE INSTALLMENT!

You are now sending me messages that I should pay money that I do not owe to you, Why? How?…This has a bad reflection on my credit score, and that is just making me very angry because I do not even owe you any money!
