Good day, on Friday the 7th of February I got ****** and my phone which is on contract got taken. The phone was uninsured as I did not afford insurance however the contract is only for months old. The customer agent who helped me block my phone could on the system see which simcards I have been using on the phone and when. So when I went to mtn branch on the 10th I thought i could be assisted by i was blantly told nothing can be done to help me. I have opened a care with saps but id like to know what is the use of a phone having an imei number if this can't be used in cases of theft.. no one asks to be ****** and the worst is when your service provider says there's nothing they can do. Inconsistency as also the other customer agents told me to the counter i will be assisted and when i get there the lady says there's nothing they can do. Also I have an attachment that states that mtn can trace a phone using emei number if police require it. So please i need clarity
