Still waiting for proof of data usage
Over 3 months back mtn overcharged me. I complained, they haphazardly reduced the amount. I requested proof of data usage, to data I am still waiting. They suspended and reactivated my account (I actually want it suspended for good). They have been promising to send proof to date, nothing. One wonders, the very same mtn that has to pay such a huge bill in a few days, its front line staff fails this dismally?

I am taking this further to the ombudsman. In fact, for all of you mtn customers who have been overcharged by mtn, the FFP is taking this to parliament. send an email to [Email Removed] and state your case.

There is also a group of lawyers working on taking mtn to court for overbilling customers.

it is sad that because mtn is a huge corporation they can just treat us anyhow since they have the financial muscle.

Please, suspend my account. I don't want anymore dealings with mtn.

We see that the billing was validated on the 8th of October 2015 (Reference number: ***) and a credit was approved for the amount of R247.38 including VAT. This was for your invoice dated the 13th of September 2015.

We've also now suspended the line as requested until the matter is resolved accordingly.
